Every time I think the show-runners have settled on a way to include Mickey without being allowed to actually use him, they keep coming up with clever ways to bypass this:

“Oh, wow! Storkules is played by the same voice actor who voiced Mickey in the Mickey Mouse Shorts! And he’s Donald’s best friend! This is the closest we’ll come to ever seeing Mickey on this show.”

“What?! An award in the the shape of Mickey’s head?! Wow! That’s even more direct! This is definitely the closest we’ll ever get to seeing Mickey on the show.”

“What the--?!?! A cluster of watermelons in the shape of Mickey AND his Shorts voice actor stepping in to do Donald’s impression?! This has to be it. This has to be the closest we’ll ever get to seeing Mickey Mouse on the show. If they still can’t use him, what could possibly top this???”

I’ll probably have to reblog this with an update when Season 3 airs. xD
