I don’t know how I missed this the first time I watched “Jaw$!”, but like...

Roxanne: There’s the man of the hour! Roxanne Featherly, it’s an honor to meet you, Mr. McDuck. Such a fan...when you forced Medusa to take a good hard look at herself in the mirror, it changed me.

Scrooge: And her. Into stone!

*They laugh*

Scrooge: Most people don’t know about that.

Roxanne: Well, most people aren't me.

Something is definitely up with Roxanne...she could be Medusa herself in disguise. (She even draws out her “s” sound when she says “Such a fan”.) Somehow, she came back to life and possibly became a news reporter as part of a revenge plot against Scrooge.

If she isn't Medusa, then maybe she's another gorgan. A relative, perhaps?
