These weird ghost-like figures are supposed to be Della, right? Are they based on an earlier design? Why are her eyes like that? Are they supposed to represent her googles? Why is she riding a llama-horse thing? Is that part of a scrapped concept? What’s that in her hand in the last one? A tool? What’s with the boat? A subtle way to express the rocket was a ship?

Where does this scene take place???
