Soft Opening!

 

Made this a week ago to playfully vent my frustrations. It's nothing SUPER serious; I've just been having issues with my laptop since mid-July or so. I haven't been able to access most of my files and the laptop I'm currently using will not read my Clip Studio Paint disc. 😭

I went back to GNU's editing program, what I was using before I switched over, but then remembered I couldn't do vector brush strokes or layers with it. 😐 I really need those features for making adjustments...the Path tool is too hard for me to figure out again. 😶 Thought I was getting somewhere with Inkscape, but it was laggy and froze up on me like, three times. I gave up.🥲 

(Guess that happens when you restore account information from an 8GB computer to a 4GB one 🤦🏾‍♀️should have paid attention to that part of the listing....)

My laptop's been in the shop since earlier last month and thankfully, I'll be able to pick it up this weekend. This whole situation has been so upsetting, it's been difficult to even work on traditional sketches! I want to finalize art SO BAD! 😫 This wait has been terrible...I had plans for three different art pieces and this mess made me miss all my deadlines...😑Before I gave up, I was gonna scale back as I learn how to use these other programs and redo the pieces later, but I decided it's not worth making lackluster versions just to be on time for certain dates. 🤷🏾‍♀️

While I'm at it, yeah, there were some things I was able to have access to thanks to them being saved elsewhere. Because of this, I've been working hard on making new blog entries!👩🏾‍💻 I'm currently cleaning up an old installment to my Association essay. All I have left from that is one more part. I'm very glad that I at least got that done. There are some posts I want to get out of the way before dropping the essay though, so, those should be rolling out soon. And maybe I'll have some art by the end of the month? Guess we'll just have to see. ✨🤞🏾
