I realized that all three seasons of DT17 contain a moment where an adventurer, or a pilot, experiences some kind of struggle with a dragon-like monster. And in most of these cases, the monster is ultimately defeated with a strong blast of power.
- Pixiu was accidentally released from imprisonment similarly to how Launchpad believe he had unleased a demon curse on Duckburg
- The “demons” were on the hunt for candy in the same way Pixiu was after gold
- The defragon that Launchpad rode in “Happy Birthday, Doofus Drake!” was given the same color palette as The Sunchaser; making it feel strangely reminiscent of Scrooge’s battle with Pixiu
- While Scrooge wasn’t dressed as a dragon for Halloween, or blasted with some kind of blue-green energy, having him fight a pilot in a skeleton costume seems to draw a strong connect to the ceiling decorations at Hazel House

while it is a parallel, you know the toys aren't purely reenacting that scene from "woo-oo"
otherwise, the rocket wouldn't be there
