I’ve noticed that Launchpad and Della have always done something...interesting in relation to each other towards the end of the finales:
In Season 1, Della placed her hand on Launchpad’s side of the TV screen. But as their meeting in “Nothing Can” proved, the static prevented her from realizing this.
In Season 2, Della was the one who crashed the Moonlander Spear into the side of Killmotor Hill. But because the Moonlanders were invading Earth with them, Launchpad automatically assumed it was Penumbra and developed a crush on her.
In Season 3, Della and Launchpad shared the last bits of dialogue in a similar manner to how they shared the first bits of dialogue for the first episode of the season. Having them speak in the reverse order of these opposite ends feels rather complementary.
For a character dynamic we weren’t supposed to think twice about, it sure felt...the complete opposite of that. 🤔

and donald missing for some reason (this news report gets played again in golden spear)
if s3 was never greenliit they wanted it to end with Scrooge hugging Webby
and LP standing behind della
