Launchpad is A Really Good Submarine Pilot

In ”Woo-oo!”, he told Scrooge that he didn’t have any prior experience. He stated that the closest he’s come to doing so was a time where he had sunk a helicopter in a wavepool and yet he's able to navigate with such ease.

Launchpad can pilot the sub while sleeping, wearing a blindfold, through all of those crazy obstacles after Dewey sabotaged the map and could even bypass the falling debris as the Atlantian structure fell apart. He was fighting through the poisonous effects of the snake venom as they were leaving and still managed to get back to Duckburg with the vehicle in one piece. Let alone, everyone else.

It’s only during rare occasions that he bumps into things. In ”Casefiles”, his blindfold slipped and in “Depths”, he assumed Huey and Dewey wanted him to crash into the lighthouse, but it’s not like his usual crashes at all.

Similarly, while his water-landings are rough, he’s never crashed during the ones we see in “Gander” or “Richest” either.

While on the subject, he didn’t initially crash in “Last Crash” after falling off the peak. And in “Ragnarok”, he made a perfect landing but none of the characters notice. (I somehow didn’t realize this at first myself. xD)

...But yeah! Pretty neat.

"I call it the underwater sky" lol, the parallel tho
I think this signifies something

tag notes: why does the crab sorta remind me of the manticore from selene?
knowing how good he is with the sub makes it weird that he didn’t appear in “Mervana”
well and because mermaids
i think i might have a better idea now
if i'm observing anything correctly about certain story elements i'm gonna say it's because the harp would have ended his whole career
