Major Update

Hi, everyone.

I have something important to say about the direction of this site that's been weighing heavier and heavier on my mind within the past few months. After constantly going back and forth on this, I've finally made my decision. 

I don't want to theorize about Delpad anymore.

I stopped searching through most DuckTales-related content on the Internet, but I already know Delpad isn't popular. I'm sure it lost even more popularity over the years. It feels like nobody cares. 😞 

So, why should I? My theories about Delpad are too hard to talk about...even if I tried to explain everything, the average fan would just ignore me. Google doesn't even show results from my site in Images! That's the main search engine people use! If there were any other fans that were interested in this ship, would they even be able to find this site?!

It's not worth it...like, how do I even know if the basis I came up with was anywhere near close to what was actually happening? How do I know it's not something I just made up in my head? 

Y'know what, I'll just rip the bandaid off: I totally gaslit myself about all this LaunchDad stuff...

The series ended with Webby being Scrooge's clone and he was the one who was meant to have the father reveal this whole time. Launchpad and Della didn't end up together and no one from the show had anything to say about this. That must mean there's nothing else going on here. I wasted a huge amount of time propping up nothing...I'll just have to find peace with that and move on. 😟

Now...I didn't make this post to say I'm shutting this blog down--Oh, no, it's still staying up! But there will definitely be some changes around here...I'm shifting my focus to a bit of a different subject matter... something more...relevant so that my hard work will have a better chance of being appreciated...

From this day forward, my blog will be about the best character in the entire show...

FLINTHEART GLOMGOLD!

And, of course, I will be changing my url to match! Eventually. I'm still thinking of the best option...I'm leaning on "Glomtastic", "Glomgolden" or "Scrooge Stinx". (I'm open to suggestions.)

I know this sudden change of pace will be hard to accept, but I'm sure you'll get used to it in time. I 

promise to still keep this place fun and DT-oriented. You may even like it more this way! 😃

...Oh, and there's a big possibility that I'll start deleting all my Delpad stuff next week. Tuesday sounds like a good time. I can't have that fake mess competing with Glomgold. (There can only be one!) enjoy it while it lasts! 😄
