Why Glomgold is The ~Best~ Character!

Ever since my announcement about shifting this blog's focus over to Glomgold, 

I've been getting questions as to why he was chosen out of all the other characters on the show. 

I'm really surprised and confused by this. Like...what?? There are soooo many reasons...! 

But to save time, I'll just narrow them down to six:

1.) He isn't Scrooge!

This is a huge one. This grown man tried to cheat poor child Glommy out of honest work and then tried to cover it up with a dumb lesson on "self-reliance" PLEASE. He just wanted free labor so he can save money! Glomgold has every right to hate that greedy jerk! Who does that to a kid?! 😡

And to make matters worse? When Glomgold started getting popular among the people of Duckburg, Scrooge gladly abandoned him in a cave! Unbelievable.

2.) He isn't Della!

Unlike Dumbella, Glomgold is very loyal to his family*. He would never have the urge to leave them at an important time in their lives. He didn't have to crash-land on the moon to realize how stupid and selfish that would be either...

Glomgold is a wonderful, loving parent. Della has to make up for a whole decade after randomly choosing to go on a joyride, through a storm NOBODY asked her to fly into! That was COMPLETELY avoidable! So pathetic. 😒

(*His shark family. Those team members from the first episode, the Sharkbomb puppet and "GlomTales" team-up had nothing to do with sharks, so, they don't count.)

3.) He isn't Launchpad!

(...Is this really the only scene where they're next to each other? Hm, anyways--)

Does Launchpad have a subway train sponsorship?

And two highly anticipated fair rides to his name? 

Glomgold does! That's because he's a successful businessman. LP is a loser.

You won't see Glomgold willing to play second fiddle to everyone else!

He's out here taking CHARGE!!! 💥💪😤

4.) The whole scene when he

crashed Scrooge's funeral!

It was SO unexpected! I laughed so hard!! 🤣 I never thought I'd ever hear a pre-existing song in this show that had nothing to do with Disney! Let alone THAT one. T'was legendary.

And better than anything Scrooge, Della or Launchpad have ever done. ( ͡° ͜  ͡°)

5.) This face he made in "Moonvasion"

6.) He saved Earth!!!

And he didn't need superpowers, fancy gadgets or a robotic suit to do it, either!

He just used his brilliant mind to concoct the perfect scheme!!

Sure, Penumbra may have had a role in stopping Lunaris from destroying the planet...but, if it weren't for Glomgold, he would have never fled back to space in the first place! And what kept him stranded in space with no means of return? The sharka that GLOMGOLD released! It all goes back to what HE did! ☝😤

Well, I hope this insightful post helps to give you a better understanding!

If not, I'll just have to make more of them in the future. 😂
