🎙🎭💛 Whoever Framed Della Duck?! 💛🎭🎙

For the past few-ish years, I've been doing an art challenge where I focus on posting pieces for designated dates. I had a lot of DuckTales-oriented ideas for this year and thought that shaving them down to four instead of my usual six, that I would have an easier time. Unfortunately...I didn't finish any of them for the days I had in mind; this is an edited post.

But I still completed them anyway! ✍🏾😤

For almost every June 20th slot, and a little before my challenge began, I've been drawing Delpad for my birthday and wanted to keep it going. Figuring out what to draw sent me back to a funny observation I had years ago that others had also come close to: I remember seeing a couple of similar conversations where Launchpad and Della were acknowledged as a reversal of Roger and Jessica Rabbit, where the male character is the one with the tall, exaggerated body type while the female character has a more standard one. x)

I did think about making a drawing about that closer to the time, but I immediately shot it down. 😆 I thought it would end up being too cursed...but when idea came back this year, I reconsidered. Maybe I actually could pull it off, lol. I think it turned out pretty well. 😊 I'll probably revisit the concept sometime in the future to do more with it.
